Welcome to my website!
My name is Kathryn Franke and I graduated from Mount St. Mary's University with dual degrees in Fine Arts and Communication Studies. As I pursue an MBA in Marketing, I am working as the Managing Editor of the Emmitsburg News-Journal and the Graduate Assistant in the Mount St. Mary's University Office of University Communications, where I assist with the school's graphic design, photography, publication, and social media efforts.
This website is a portfolio of my artwork, including paintings, drawings, photography, graphic design, and crafts. The majority of my artwork is focused on the theme of the natural world. Nature has always been my passion. The natural world constantly reveals its endless beauty, and that is something I aim to capture in my artwork. My artwork is meant to be a reflection of nature. We should not just live in nature; we should experience it. The natural world is full of wondrous, breathtaking sights, and even the simplest objects in nature hold such beauty and vivacity.
